Since 2012, art, design and breakin’ always ran parallel in my life. My work began through creating dance flyers/posters for local gatherings, competitions, and theater performances. I was in school for graphic design at North Hennepin Community College from 2012-2016. During this time period in school I found myself freelancing and applying my studies to real life projects.

In 2018, my business partner Ammada and I started a brand strategy design consultancy agency together, Light Codes Consulting and Design. We help purpose-driven people and organizations fully embody their story, mission and values through brand strategy, identity design and mural art. We’re passionate about working with people who are courageously helping to improve the human experience, changing society and challenging world systems in meaningful ways.

Through line art experimentation, I’ve discovered a way to blend breakin’, art and design together. This idea manifested through my fondness for minimalism and contemporary art. One thing that makes me tick is being able to create something whether it be through physical movement, art or design.

The 2020 pandemic really limited my abilities to dance as much as I wanted to, but it was a blessing in disguise as it pushed me to create in other ways. My goals are to continue my line art, push my own boundaries and shed light on breakin’ in a new way.
